Keeping it in the family
I love love love creating for my ETSY store. But every now and then I create something that I just love so much, that I have to keep it for my own. And with two little princesses, I find myself keeping a ton of projects to decorate their room with.
Here is an example of just one of the many projects that will be kept in the family. I can't wait to show my girls their new rustic "Pretty In Pink" banner.

Up-cycling!
I absolutely love the idea of saving money. But, being a crafter, that is not always the easiest thing to do. Every time I log into ETSY or into Pinterest, I am bombarded with a ridiculous amount of new ideas to try out. With every new idea/project that I discover and want to try out, I see more money flying out the window.
I have, however, recently discovered upcycling! And I am in love!! Crafting with, well, basically your would be trash... I am a little bit addicted.
This is one of my first up-cycled projects. I took an empty beer bottle and with a little bit of fabric adhesive and yarn, this bottle looks completely transformed. I have never been a wine kind of girl, but wine bottles would definitely work for this too!
Here are a few MUST TRY upcycle projects that I have found on Pinterest.
